Dear Mr. President,

By the time you read this, if in fact you ever see this letter, we will know if you will be our President for the next four years.

In fact I think you do deserve to be our President for the next four years. I voted for you in 2000 and will vote for you this time, the Lord willing that I make it to the place where I vote.

I am forty five years old and have been a republican since I was twenty and I think you have done a good job.

But you burst my bubble this week when I heard you make three comments. Comments about who goes to heaven, God and homosexuals.

I can only try and understand the enormous problems you face everyday as President.

But you cast the Bible into doubt by saying things like Muslims pray to the same god as Christians and will go to heaven their own way.

In fact Muslims reject Jesus Christ as the savior and the Bible as the word of All Mighty God.

The Bible is clear about Jesus Christ being the way, the truth and the life and that NO one comes to the Father except through Jesus.

The god Muslims pray to is not the God of the Bible. The God of the Bible told Abraham that through Isaac the promise of God would be fulfilled. The nation of Israel is part of that promise and God gave us Jesus Christ through Israel.

What do the Muslims think of Israel and of Jesus Christ? They don’t think Israel should even exist and they don’t believe that Jesus is God in the flesh. The God of the Bible is not in conflict with his own self and his own word. Muslims don’t pray to the same god Mr. President.

You talk a lot about loving freedom. I love freedom also. But the love of freedom is not what has made this nation great. It is God and his word (The Bible) on which the framers of the Constitution founded this nation that has made her great. They did love freedom but they never thought with freedom came the right to do all manner of wickedness.

If the definition we are now going to use for freedom is defined as the right of people to live and do as they please with no regard for how wicked or depraved. And if the foundation that the Bible has provided is to be replaced by whatever is in the hearts and minds of mankind. Then what is the only fate left for our nation? Our nation will suffer the fate of all nations that forget God. And the wickedness that we currently see is only the beginning Mr. President.

True freedom is found only in Jesus Christ. The Bible defines true liberty as beginning when people are delivered out of wickedness, not into it.

If God’s word is allowed to be mocked by our government passing laws that protect sin, and let us be clear, we are not talking about protecting the homosexuals themselves, they should be protected, but not their sin Mr. President.

The pilgrims who landed on Plymouth Rock came here because they desired freedom. But the freedom they desired was the freedom to worship the God of heaven the way they believed and not as the Church of England prescribed.

The framers of the constitution added the First Amendment that says,

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”

As a note, don’t you think it is interesting that the foundation of the First Amendment are the words, Congress shall make no law? Congress did not make a law requiring the Bible to be in the schools or that the Ten Commandments had to be in or on Government buildings. It was the people of the United States who wanted God to be a part of their lives and their government but the courts removed them anyway.

The courts that removed the Bible and the symbols of God removed them even though the Constitution gave them no right to do so. The only issues that the Constitution gave the courts the power to rule on regarding religion was in the matters of congress making laws.

God has caused all the nations past and present to come into being and some to disappear forever. God has risen up leaders as it pleased him. And who knows Mr. President, as Mordecai said to Esther (In the book if Esther) and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

As you lead this nation in freedom also lead it in the right ways of the Lord.

If this nation continues to turn it back on the God of heaven, no amount of national pride or love of freedom will be able to protect her. The Bible says that unless the Lord keeps the city, the watchmen watches in vain.

God bless American and God bless you and your family.

 I PRAY FOR YOU.

Proverbs 14:34

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
